Managing Multiple Creative Businesses, with Holly Shaw.

Hey Maverick,

In Episode 110, I have a fantastic conversation with Holly Shaw. She is an author, performance coach hypnotherapist, and stand-up comedian.

Yes, all of those things! As you'll hear her say, she goes up on stage three to six times a week for her own comedy career in addition to running her businesses and seeing her clients. She is clearly a multi-passionate, creative entrepreneur.

We talk about each facet and how they are woven together to create a fulfilling career. I ask her about balance and how she makes time for everything she needs to be healthy, happy and creative.

Holly also happens to be a solopreneur, which I love because she is proof positive that fancy tools and teams are not required. Enjoy!

Guest Spotlight: Holly Shaw

Holly Shaw is an author, performance coach and hypnotherapist whose first book, The Creative Formula, became an Amazon bestseller shortly after it was published in 2016. Her podcast, Performers & Creators Lab, was named One of The Most Outstanding Podcasts of 2019 by Databird Research.

Through all of her offerings Shaw has helped thousands of creatives, some of them Grammy nominated and Emmy award winning artists, Hollywood actors, and internationally renowned dancers, in order to help them overcome stage fright, anxiety, and blocks so they can create the work they were born to make. Currently she is the producer of The Comedy Edge showcase in Oakland, California where she lives. Her latest book, Making Art In The Middle of Madness, was named a #1 New Release on Amazon.
