My goal with this episode is to create space for you to feel seen and safe in an uncertain and emotionally charged moment of time.

We are talking right now about the movement of Black Lives Matter, George Floyd’s murder, looting, Coronavirus - And why many “privileged” white people who want to help feel confused, overwhelmed and stuck on what to say.

I can help. This episode is not me telling you what to think, feel or do. But as a leader with a platform, I’m going to demonstrate candidly what I did. This has been a massive growing experience as I’ve begun to explore my role in the problem, my identity, and desire to contribute to a change.

I’m telling you my exact reactions to the most recent major events, and what I noticed as I let go of the judgement and let myself learn. Then I share where I’m at now and what I’m doing next.

My opinion is that, as business leaders, we have a responsibility to grow as humans. This episode is a demonstration of how I am doing this right now, and my hope is that it can be an example if you desire to do the same.

I would love for you to connect with me on Instagram. I also mentioned this video by @rachelrodgersesq.

This is not my usual type of episode, but if you own a business and you liked this episode, make sure you also subscribe to the show and dig in deeper.

And when you’re ready to align your business so that it’s simple, clear and FUN, I offer a free consultation. Based on where you are, and where you want to go, I’ll show you exactly what to work on so you are focused and confident to move forward right away.
